One Year Blog Anniversary!

I can’t believe it has been one year since I started on this journey!  This blog world that I really didn’t know anything about has been the greatest blessing for me this past year.  With Gabby off to her first year of college and I was feeling lost.  But, one by one each one of you have filled my empty nest and I’m sooooo grateful for each and every one of you!   The parties, swaps, giveaway and especially YOU! 

I have to thank my hubby for my great blog name, Geralyn, Marlene and Toni for pushing me to start my blog.  So, I wish I could give each and everyone of you a gift, but I could only make one.

This is a pocketbook album for one lucky winner.  This is a cute, little clay bear I bought off of eBay. 

This is the first and second page.  I used prima flowers, flourishes, and ribbon.  Hand stamped little bees and used a little metal rose for decoration.

Let’s Get Shabby Challenge #12

Wow, can’t believe I have finished this challenge for Let’s Get Shabby so early! LOL This challenge was all about paint, chipboard and lace.

I took prima’s embossed chipboard and painted it with Tim Holtz’s crackle distress tattered rose.

It’s hard to notice the love birds at the bottom of the page, just love them. I inked the edges with cat’s eye. I hand cut the fabric to make the dress and the lace is in the flower and butterfly wings.

Playing with Vinyl

Hope you are enjoying this Memorial Day Weekend!  I went over to Geralyn’s House to help make signs for her new store.  We played with the silhouette and it was my first time using the vinyl and here are some of the things I did:
