I used twine, stickles, glossy accents, Frayed Burlap distress ink and a Martha Stewart punch, which all these can be found at The Craft Barn.
Have a great week. Hugz, Z
Hi, just wanted to share with you an up coming class I’m doing in June at Scrapbook Memories in Beachwood, NJ.
Just a few sneak peeks:
If you are in the area be sure to check out Liza’s store. Have a great weekend. Hugz, Z
Dano from latestcraft has invited me to join in his Sketch Challenge for Scrap Friday. Here is the template he has draw:
We agreed on using only scraps, black and white, a card, black ink and corner rounder. When he sent me the template I saw a camera with a flash. So, here is my take on Dano’s template:
Be sure to see what he has done. Have a great weekend and Dano thanks for asking to join your first Scrap Friday. It was a lot of fun. Hugz, Z
I was on a roll with scrappin Holly, so here are two more:
This is using April’s sketch challenge for Prima:
As most of you know, I am crazy for my prima Flowers! Have a great week. Hugz, Z
Hi, this week on Try It On Tuesdays is anything goes featuring your pampered pets. I did a 12 x 12 layout with Holly. She is a Malti-poo which is part Maltese and part Poodle. I used Anna Griffin’s collection Fifi and Fido. I love this collection because it is filled with pinks, greens, yellow and black, not your typical dog/cat paper.
Be sure to check out the other DT creations. Have a great week. Hugz, Z
Hi, I just wanted to share with you my latest layout with Holly. I saved the bows and scarf from the groomer and added them to the layout:
I went to Michaels this week and purchase this:
I love it, this is a 12 x 12 but, they also had it in 8 x 8. I always like to admire my layouts before I put them in a book.
This is the start of my version of the Smash Book for my trip to Australia. I will add some sand and shells from there at the bottom. I’m going to change out the rings and add raffia after I’m done. Have a great weekend and Happy Easter. Hugz, Z
Kathryn from Life on the {Scrap} Beach has been making a Tea Caddy on her Thursday show. I created this for a very special friend out of the DCWV collection Garden Tea Party. Kathryn did hers with Prima’s collection Sun Kissed. I wish I had room on my counter I would make one for myself. Really, had a lot of fun making this project. Thanks, Kathryn for the inspiration.
I really love this paper pack it has soft pinks, mauve and brown and glitter, too.
Isn’t this so cute! I took this right from the show Kathryn did last Thursday. I used a real tea bag and just cut it down. Kathryn made hers with flock in it and it looks just like a tea bag. Inside the tiny envelope she wrote a quote:
Kathryn did hers with embossing powder and it look just like metal, of course, I couldn’t find my gold embossing powder….(what else is new)LOL So, I used my gold dabber.
Isn’t this paper line so perfect for this! I love the birds, butterflies and tea cups. Here is the top lid:
Linda, I hope you like! I had a great time making it for you. Thanks again, Kathryn for the inspiration. I really didn’t have any intentions of making one but after my conversation with Dawn, I just had to make it. Be sure to check out Kathryn’s shows every Thursday on ustream. Have a great week. Hugz, Z
