Of course, the camera broke 10 mins into the water…lol  So, I was lucky that these survived.  (Your probably saying to yourself right now, thank goodness how many pictures of the bottom do we need to see…tee hee.    They did get to see a stingray and sea turtle.   They say that it will not  be long before it is all gone.  Next day it was the zip line.

So, I hope you hung in there.  I wasn’t able to see as much of Sydney as I would have liked.  The plane ride over (24hrs) did a job of my legs.  So, tomorrow I will take you to Cairns and Port Douglas where we stayed.  Hugz, Z

SYDNEY~NEW ZEALAND~Scrapaholics

HI, I’m back!  Missed you guys!  Just a quick post, it’s been a long 22 hrs on the plane and want to share just a little with you before I head off to bed.

  IMG_5911IMG_5910

Love, Australia’s scrapbooking magazine!

IMG_5912

My stash from New Zealand, I was able to go only to one scrapbook store and that was “Scrapaholics”  in Howick, New Zealand.  It was a $60.00 cab ride to their store, but so worth it.  I wanted to take a class there that evening, but it was just to far to go back too.  Of course, I bought all the Kaisercraft I could get my hands on…lol  They had a great store and their logo is adorable!

IMG_5561IMG_5563IMG_5564IMG_5566IMG_5567IMG_5569IMG_5568IMG_5572

I’ll be sharing more of my trip each day this week.  So good to be home and lots of pictures to scrap.  Hugz, Z

The Stamp Man Challenge~Prima “Fairy Belle”

This is my entry for The Stamp Man Challenge anything shabby chic or distressed.  Here is the front cover of my mini album using the new collection from Prima “Fairy Belle”.
IMG_4544
I used black gesso on the frame and then painted it with tattered rose distress crackle paint, I then distressed the pennants and added lots of rock candy stickles.  It’s a shame you can see all the glitter that is on here.  The girls wings are stickle, as well as her head piece and leaves with added bling on her waist and earring.  As some of you know I will be down under for a couple of weeks.  I hope you don’t forget me!   Hugz, Z
