Thank You Julia from Stray Dreams

On New Year’s Eve I watched the NYE streamathon and won a wonderful package from Julia at Stray Dreams.  She was so sick on that day and still carried on.  So, glad she did as I won one of the 4 atc’s she did on her show and some wonderful goodies:

Love the dictionary pages and British tissue.  You can see the card with the #3 that is one of the atc’s she did on her show 2013.

Try It On Tuesday~Challenge It’s all about eyes

This week on Try It On Tuesday the challenge is It’s All About The Eyes.  I used a digi image from Saturated Canary, I just love her images and those big eyes.  I have been learning how to color using my promarkers from Kimberly from Justwordz.  She has many you tube videos on how she colors her images.  Just love her techniques!  This is the card I did for someone very special to me.

G45 Old Curiosity Shoppe~Obscura~Oddities

Have you ever seen on Sci-Fi channel Oddities?

If you watch SCI on Saturday nights then you will be familiar with the show “Oddities”.  It brings me back to when my Mom use to take us to the circus.  I loved the circus, the clowns, especially the trapeze girls in their fancy costumes.  I guess that’s why I like to watch it with it’s creepy things, but it has me intrigued...lol   Most of the time I turn my face…tee hee


Mike Zohn the c0 owner, Evan Michelson, co owner and Ryan Matthew, buyer. They were starting to film so I really only had about 3 minutes in the shop, but it was fun to see…and creepy…lol

New York City~Curly Girl~Hair Art

In January we went into the city and  Gabby, my daughter has such curly hair and always goes to the Deva Hair Salon in NYC.  They specialize in curly hair the owner of the store wrote:

This year in her salon she created these fabulous wall arts for her store made out of …yes, the curly pieces that she cuts from her clients:

I thought these were fabulous!  They look so much better in person, of course. 


On our ride home we saw the new World Trade Center that will be finished in 2015 (shame on them).
