Tattered Angels came out with a Glimmer Mist Sample book~at the cost of $50.00. Although, it is hand made it is just a little to pricey for me….Soooooo, this is what I came up with:
I didn’t like the new red labels on the cap so I removed them and placed them at the bottom.
First, peel up one side of the label..(never realized how easy they peel back!) then:
Just snip a piece off and attach to the cap:
Wah whooo! no more lifting each bottle to see what color it is. Pretty fabulous, if I do say so myself….teeheeteehee. If you watch Kathryn from the scrapbeach her tip is to put bb’s in the old bottles so you don’t have to shake them up as much. Have a great weekend. Hugz, Z
Over the weekend I created this layout using Moxie’s new collection Midnight Dreary. I had this picture from last year that you see in all the Michaels'. I love all the flowers and the bats! Aren’t they so cute!
You look at it one way, then the other.
Love all the different embellishments out for Halloween. Thanks for stopping by and have a great week. Hugz, Z
I created this 8 x 8 using a new Company “Studio Calico” Memoir collection. I have to thank my friend June for giving me many of the embellishments I used in this book:
Thanks again Junie for all the great embellishments…and NO you can’t have the book…lol Have a great weekend. Hugz, Z
Let’s Get Shabby Challenge this month is using Toile and Ticking. I wanted to show most of the background so I didn’t cover it up as much.
I made this flower with crepe paper, stamped the center, glimmer mist and used stickles. The die cut is a Cheery Lynn Die cut.
Here is a better close up and I made the flowers and used the prima packaging lace doilies. I wanted to add more dimension without covering it up. I also, used the ticking to create the flowers. I painted the corrugated background with off white acrylic paint and distress the edges with Tim’s pumice stone.
Be sure to check out the other DT creations, just fabulous. Thanks for looking and have a great week. Hugz, Z
