My Mermaid Canvas~Seaside Memories

Well, created my first clay mermaid canvas!  This is pretty big about 11 x 24.  I really enjoyed the process and have to thank Angela for the inspiration.

I still have not finish her hair…hmm can’t decide what color?  What do you think, blonde, white, brown or brunette?  I also, want to create a clay gold fish to go inside the globe.  Here are a few close ups on how I started:

Here you can see I sprayed glimmer mist on the right and it kind of wash out the canvas out a bit.  (should have left it alone…lol)  I’ll share some close up of the tail and the hair:

I could have stopped here but, really wanted her to have long flowing hair.

Do you notice the difference between these two????  Well, I used alcohol ink to dye the one on the left as I didn’t like how shinny the clear crystals were.  So, What color do you think her hair should be?
I also, am going to add a title at the top “Seaside Memories”.  Have a great weekend.  ♥Hugz, Zandra♥

Try It On Tuesday~Challenge Feminine & Fancy

This week on Try It On Tuesday the challenge is feminine and fancy.  I created this tag using viva precious metal paints, fiber paste and petaloo flower.

Love how you can see the gold sparkle from the paint.  Dipped my seam binding in the left over paint on my mat and added the stick pin and there you have it.  I was inspired by Lynne from the next best thing.  Her work is amazing!
