I can’t believe I have over 200+ followers!  Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy day and with so many blogs out there that you follow me!  It means a lot, as many of you know I have only one daughter and she is off to college and this has been a wonder experience to fill the emptiness I feel now that she is gone.  So, before I get to mushy and teary eyed here is my blog giveaway:

Here is one of the dusty attic peacock laser die cuts.  I also, used Jenni Bowlin banner punch from colorbox metallic papers.

Try It On Tuesday Challenge

I am trying out for the design team at Try It On Tuesday. This week the challenge is using a slide card, the theme is “in the mail”. I didn’t have a slide card so, I came up with my version.

I took Tim’s packaging for his tiny stapler and created this all occasion card.

I created a shaker box from the packaging and added some tiny gold butterflies and beads. I inked all around with a gold dabber and used a recollections butterfly.

DCWV~Royal Garden “Pretty As A Peacock Pocketbook Albums

I got this paper pad at Joann Fabrics and wasn’t quite sure what I was going to do with it?  I have made 6 of my pocketbook albums at the Flanders Crop this weekend which I have gone to the past 3 years.  First, I want to show you the Dusty Attic peacock feathers that I painted and then added stickles, too.

The paper pack came with jade green, hot pink, royal blue, gold and white shades.  I did the hot pink for Lois at the scrap beach for a mini swap.  I hope she loves peacocks…lol

I hope you like it Lois!  Now the pack comes with a white peacock, it looks kind of creepy, but I think it is my favorite, haven’t quite finished it yet:

I’m going to paint one of the Dusty Attic peacock feathers white and add to this page.  I think I will put Gabby’s communion pictures in here.  Now, at the end of the week I will be posting a giveaway for Kathryn from Life on the Scrap Beach for her “Scrappy Bowl Party” which will take place on Super bowl Sunday and the other I am going to do a giveaway on my blog for reaching over 2oo followers.  So, bless that I have that many people who like to see what I do!  It’s amazing.  So look for that post on Friday.  My other favorite is the gold one:
