Try It On Tuesday~Pets, Animals Challenge

This week on Try It On Tuesday the challenge is anything with animals, wild animals or pets.  I created this cute Witch with bats, spider and a raven using Julie Nutting mixed media girl stamp.

Halloween Frame-It Mini~Arsenic & Lace

I created the frame from chipboard and covered it with black gesso.  Then I took a paper towel to create the tree as well as, using Tims stencil, Julie Nutting stamp and Echo Park collection Arsenic & Lace.

The back I used a glow in the dark paint mixed with homemade texture paste.  I always like to give an element of surprise to the back…lol  This holds about 35 photos!

The one on the left and center are store bought frames and the one on the right, on my Ustream class I showed how to create your own frame.

Enchanted Garden Fairy Mini by Zandra

Tonight we will be turning the Birthday Frame-It-Mini into a Halloween theme.  We also, will be creating our own frame so that you can create this over and over, again for gifts.

Try It On Tuesday~Challenge “How Does Your Garden Grow”

This week on Try It On Tuesday the challenge is How Does Your Garden Grow.  I created this card using Tim’s new alteration die and embossing folder the butterfly.  I also, used the new sizzix Prima butterfly/wings die for the middle and added Tim’s frosty film behind the little wings and crystal stickles in the front.

The roses in the middle of the butterfly are Wild Orchid Flowers and the bottom left corner are the flowers I made using the Martha Stewart Punch.

Finished Cartographer Mini

I thought I would share with you the finished mini I did last week. 

I used a dollar wood frame from Michaels, Kaiser wood gear as well as prima wood gears.  The dragon fly was cut from kraftex.  I made the stand so the book could stand up right.

This is one of the Jamie stamps called “Jing” and I sent this out to her and she loved it.  Have a great week.
