Hi, just wanted to share with you a class I did at Scrapbook Memories with Graphic 45’s new collection Happy Haunting and playing with Dylusions.
I covered the front with canvas and used distress stains and layered with gesso over a prima mask. Now in class we used the Dylusion sprays and to our surprise the sprays soaked into the gesso and gave it such a great effect. In these photos you can’t appreciate how vibrant the colors are because I forgot my camera and they where taken with an ipad, thank you Liza!
Didn’t they come out great! They are really a bright aqua, purple and a little orange. I know the gesso looks white here but they really aren’t. The gesso took on the colors and they looked fabulous. Here are the rest of the pictures:
Here we used the mirror paper from Tim Holtz, it wasn’t in yet so they had to substitute an add a photo. If you look closely you can see where we stamped on acetate for the windows of the haunted house.
These page flip up and all the pages have pockets to hold more photos. All the photo mats are removable to hold more photos or journaling. Thanks for stopping by and have a great week. Hugz, Z
