Jim~The Gentleman Crafter & New Friends

I’ve been chatting with Jim for about 2yrs now and finally, got to meet him in person.  He is such a sweetheart and a true southern Gentleman.

They are in town this weekend for Ranger U.  We went to Scrappers Cove where Sue got to meet with Jim. 

And then headed out to dinner at Applebee’s:

It was a great evening and so, glad I got a chance to meet up with them.  Thanks Jim for a lovely dinner.  I have to show you the gift he gave me.

These flowers are sooo pretty,  I love it!  Thanks again!  Have a great weekend.  Mine is already fabulous ;o)

Try It On Tuesday~Challenge Inventions, Inventors

This week on Try It On Tuesday the challenge is using inventions, inventors or could include Steampunk.  So, I created my inspiration board using the G45 Fabric Ladies Dairy and the Eiffel tower which was invented by Alexandre Gustave Eiffel. 

As most of you know I LOVE my prima flowers and these are the new ones I just got.  I love the openness of the wired tower to place my Wild Orchid Flowers, ribbons, metals and created the G45 butterfly clips to the tower.  Here are some close up of the board. 

Here you can see I added some bling and fairies which I love and added the G45 Ornate Metal Label Holder.  I used the big metal brads for the buttons to hold the ribbon in place.  I placed three of them on the side to give me more places to hang things from as you can see I placed the black fan which I plan to use on a layout for Spain when I go. 

You can see in the left photo my favorite shape the ♥  and doilies that I love to use and here you can see how well my WOC flowers fit. 

Love my tag I created on the left and of course, had to put a strip of zebra…lol  Well thanks for taking a look at what is inspiring me right now and here it is on the wall.

Kathryn Scraps~Pop Culture Challenge

Kathryn from Kathryn Scraps has a Pop Culture Challenge.  I’m cutting it close as it closes tonight at 11:59 pm.  Mustache’s are everywhere and hope this fits into her pop culture challenge.

The colors are more blue, these papers are from this month’s Swirlydoo’s kit as well as the sketch.  I used the new mustache tab from Cottage cutz.  Just love this die!  And thank you Pat for the metal mustache.  I used liquid pearls on the flourish from Blue Fern Studios.

Try It On Tuesday~Challenge Something that Moves on your project

This week on Try It On Tuesday is something that moves on your creation.  I am working on a mini book and added charms to dangle on the spine.  I guess I’m still on the recycling kick as I have used soda tabs on the spine and to bind this book…lol

G45 Secret Garden Tag

First, I want to thank everyone who wished me well for trying out for G45’s DT.  You guys really touch my ♥heart♥  and it means a lot to me.  Thank you so much!   Today was the top 30 pick and sadly I did not make the list.  Be sure to check out the people who did their work is amazing. So, can’t wait for spring and I created this tag using the Secret Garden, Once Upon a Springtime and a Christmas ball ornament.

This is the inside it is hard to see threw the ball once I finished the tag.

I change the ribbon at the top, I fussy cut and made the small roses from Memory box die and sprayed with Lindy’s spray.  Have a great weekend and I really, really appreciate every time you guys come and see what I create and encourage me so!

Fabric~Graphic 45 Ladies Dairy

Keeping my fingers crossed as Friday the 4th G45 announces their pick for the second round DT.  My second love to scrapbooking is sewing, so I created this mug caddy.  ♥Love♥ how it turned out. 

I took the Secret Garden Stamp and stamped the muslin.

This is the mug I used and placed the mug caddy in it.

It holds quite a bit, 7 pockets on the outside and 7 pockets on the inside.   Can’t wait to do some more projects with the Ladies Dairy fabric.  Have a great week and wish me luck!  ♥Hugz, Z♥
