Just wanted to share with you the finished masks I did on my Ustream Class on Wed. July 2nd.
This is the finish mask with the gold tooth…lol
And if you miss the show I will share with you how I created the second mask using my octopus legs:
First I gesso the mask and added the zipper.
Then I added tissue paper from a sewing patter, cheese cloth and some dry wall tape.
Then started to fill the brain in…lol
Once I had everything I wanted on the mask I went over the whole mask with black gesso.
Looks so creepy all in black….eek!
Here you can see the difference from the black gesso and using the Prima Color Bloom Sprays.
Here you can see the Color Bloom Vintage Coal and I love how it has a green patina color.
And here you can see the different colors of the sprays: Vintage Coal, Precious Stone, Vintage Gold and Worn Leather.
The finished masks and I love how they came out. Did you notice the little mask hanging on the sides of the mask. I got them at the flea market and they are called “Passport Masks”,
Well, I hope you enjoyed my first mixed media masks. I hope you have a safe and joyful 4th of July!
