Ustream Show Wed. 18th~Prima Butterfly Mini

Tomorrow we will be finishing up the BoBunny “Book in a Box, Box in a Book” mini. 

This is the mini we will create using Prima’s new Butterfly collection.  Ashliegh from scrapsbuttonsnbows will be creating a beautiful box to hold this mini.  Can’t wait to do it.  This will be the last project I will be doing for Scrapadabadoo, as I have decided to step down from the design team.  It has been a great experience and want to thank Barrie and Carol for the opportunity to work with them and the other wonderful guys on the team. 

So, if you would like to follow along tomorrow night here are the cutting measurements from chipboard.

You will need 6 pieces of chipboard 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 for the pages.

The cover is 6 5/8 x 6 5/8 and you will need 2 pieces, then for the spine one piece cut at 2 1/8 x 6 5/8.

You will need connector strips/hinges to adhere the pages together.   5 pieces at 6 1/2 x 1 1/4 four pieces at 6 5/8 x 1 1/4.

If you will need to decide what color to make your hinges.  If you want to use what I did in the sample you will need to cut your strips from kraft cardstock.  Also, if you have the Prima bloom spray in the Berry Wine, that would be a great choice as well.  In this book for class I will be using white strips as I plan on painting the edges with white paint.
