Kathryn from Life on the {Scrap} Beach has been making a Tea Caddy on her Thursday show. I created this for a very special friend out of the DCWV collection Garden Tea Party. Kathryn did hers with Prima’s collection Sun Kissed. I wish I had room on my counter I would make one for myself. Really, had a lot of fun making this project. Thanks, Kathryn for the inspiration.
I really love this paper pack it has soft pinks, mauve and brown and glitter, too.
Isn’t this so cute! I took this right from the show Kathryn did last Thursday. I used a real tea bag and just cut it down. Kathryn made hers with flock in it and it looks just like a tea bag. Inside the tiny envelope she wrote a quote:
Kathryn did hers with embossing powder and it look just like metal, of course, I couldn’t find my gold embossing powder….(what else is new)LOL So, I used my gold dabber.
Isn’t this paper line so perfect for this! I love the birds, butterflies and tea cups. Here is the top lid:
Linda, I hope you like! I had a great time making it for you. Thanks again, Kathryn for the inspiration. I really didn’t have any intentions of making one but after my conversation with Dawn, I just had to make it. Be sure to check out Kathryn’s shows every Thursday on ustream. Have a great week. Hugz, Z
