Graphic 45 ~Happy Haunting Banner

I just wanted to share with you a banner I made for my friend, Dawn.  She hates glitter so, I did everything with stickles.  Yes, I know it is still glitter but, at least it is mixed with glue and it won’t flake off…lol  Besides, glitter and Halloween is like PB&J…lol

I first, used Martha Stewart punches to go around the banner, then ruffled crepe paper to make the webs stand out. 

You can see I double over the crepe paper and then adhere that to the back, then added the chipboard to the back.


It is so, hard to take a photo, so I took some close up shots, I really wished I had the ghosts from G45 Wizard of Oz last years collection that’s what I wanted to put where this ghost was:

You can see a close-up of the window, I placed a piece of acetate behind and even cut off the corner to make the window appear as if it was broken.  And I fussy cut the little kids from the stamps as well.  Dawn, I hope you like it.  You can see here where I had placed the spiders, which you did not receive…LOL  Have a great weekend.  Hugz, Z

Try It On Tuesday~Lots of Layers Challenge

This week on Try It On Tuesday is all about lots of layers.  I created this card for Gabby.  I couldn’t resist the new Magnolia stamp with the kangaroo.  Since, she has recently got back I think she will get a kick out of it…lol

I used the 6 x 6 MME collection Breeze.  I love the mustard, grey and black combo. There are 10 layers and I used Pink Paislee Rub Ons on the oval, vintage lace across, stickles and flowers.   Be sure to check out the other DT members creations at TIOT and come and play!  Hugz, Z

Graphic 45~Song Bird ~Happy Birthday Holly

Well, it was Yuki’s birthday today she would have been 15 years old.  We do miss her and always think of her.  Tomorrow is Holly’s birthday she will be 2 years old and Zoey born on the same date will be 6 mos. old. 

Now, don’t call animal cruelty on me…lol she only had this on for 10 minutes….lol  I was at TJ Maxx and found this:

Here you can see where I decorated the lantern with Graphic 45 Song Bird Collection.  I fussy cut the birds and tiny butterflies and cut a strip to go around the top and added them to the lantern.  I also, created the fan with the lantern paper.  So, here are the pics:

OMgosh!  I have been cracking myself up all morning.  Here is the layout I did:

Love how it came out and the MS punch to make the screen was great.  Oh, and don’t think Zoey got away without dressing up:

Authentique~Glowing

Hi, just wanted to share with you a class I did over the weekend at Scrappers Cove using the new line Glowing from Authentique:

I cut the witch from my cricut  Teresa Collins, Chic & Scary cartridge.  I added some vintage trim and tulle to her dress, glitter paper for her shoes and hat.

This is the other class I did and just love the frog I hand cut.

Try It On Tuesday~Anything Goes Challenge

This week on Try It On Tuesday is anything goes.  I created a card for a dear friend, she loves monkeys.  It is another slider card, you pull the ribbon to reveal a message.

Bo Bunny~Apple Cider

I wanted to share with you my mini I created for a class at Scrappers Cove in October using the new line Apple Cider. 

Just a few sneak peeks, with the front cover I used vintage coffee bags and sprayed the front cover with Dylusions and glimmer mist over a prima mask.

I was inspired to make these cute little crows from my friend Zelda who made a Thank You card for Scrapadabadoo.
