Octopus Canvas~Prima~Finnabair Inspired

Thanks for everyone who joined me on Ustream last night as we finished up the Octopus Canvas:

I created the octopus from paper clay which you can see the video from last week.  Hand cut the treasure chest and placed the jewels in side as well as Tim’s skeleton on the front.

I used crafters workshop fish stencil as well as Tim’s flourish #32 stencil.  I added all the metals then gesso them and used Viva D├ęcor Paints for the background and Prima sprays for the seashells.  I added Prima Art basics & ingredient's for the final touch with the micro beads.

Here are some close up photos I only wish you could see the silver metallic how it shines:

This is for my niece who is having a baby boy at the end of the month and the baby’s room is pirate theme.

Here is the finished baby album I did for her using October Afternoon collection Treasure Map:

Well, I’m excited to send it to her and can’t wait to see what she thinks.  This was so much fun and thanks for sharing it with me.
