Ranger Warehouse Sale Give Away!
I'm lucky enough to live close to the Ranger warehouse and Friday they are having their warehouse sale. So, this weekend Geralyn and I went to Columbus Flea Market and this is what I purchase. It is a shelf that holds golf balls, I think. So, I have taken it apart and now it is up to you. Sorry, Geralyn you can't play since you already know what I'm going to do with it. ;o)
You have to guess what I am going to turn it into, what color/colors I will paint or not paint it. It's that simple. If more than one person guesses the same I will put their names in a hat and pick.
What you will win~I will send the winner some items that I pick up at the ranger sale. Good Luck to you all. I will pick the winner Sunday night. Have a great week.

A Huge "THANK YOU" ~Sandy from Sew Revived
Sandy from Sew Revived was the hostess for this wonderful Charm Bracelet Swap. The ladies who participated made such treasured charms and it was an honor to get to know each of them. This is the pouch that Sandy made for ALL the ladies!
I sewed the little bear on and it was so wonderful of Sandy to sew the fabric piece with all our names and who did what. Awesome!
Some of us attached smaller charms on the heart doily. I loved how she put the word "journey". I did the Swarovski crystal angel.
Each of the ladies included a post card from their home town. It was nice to learn a little history from each.

A Prima-Licious Contest! @ Swirlydoos
Here is my entry for the Prima-Licious Contest over at Swirlydoo's. The more you enter the better your chances are of winning as it is chosen via Random Drawing.
Don't you just love these chubby little birds? Can you guess how I made them? Come on guess and no peeking! lol
As many of you know last week we took Gabby to Boston University for her first year in college. It was bittersweet and this photo was taken the last weekend in August in Ocean Grove at the Vintage Post Card Show.
I love the way it came out but not thrilled with my handwriting in the corner. I would love to come up with something else but for now it will stay.
This layout is for you Gabby may you spread your wings and fly high and if you should fall I know you will land on a star! You are my little angel and are loved more than you know! Love, Mommy
Okay, now that you probably peek... shame on you! Yes, these cute little birds were made with Prima's butterfly. I took the wings apart and then rearrange them and used glossy accents to glue the tail on and moved the crystal at the seam. Didn't they just come out so cute!
I have been waiting for the Prima Birds to come to Scrappers Cove but, they did get their big order in but not the birds or new butterflies. So, I couldn't wait any longer and made my own. lol
I can also see a little gold fish in the near future. Now, come on you saw it, too! Right?

Here is a closer look at the flowers. You have to look close to see the sheer ruffle lace around the photo. I was lucky enough to get these old photo corners in pink!
Be sure to check out their blog for the wonderful eye candy they have this month.
Thanks for looking.

Here is one of the goodies we got. Oh, sooo yummy!
Debbie and I at the dinner. We had to run because our plane left at 10:30 that nite, so we were unable to see the speaker and see the live auctions for the lamps that were donated. They raised over $45,ooo dollars for the fun raiser. So, awesome!
Love these girls with the zebra hats! lol There were so many great zebra things! Loved it.
And of course, our usual tradition of desert first! Sorry, Geralyn! A snickers on the outside with a creamy, creamy, dreamy peanut butter texture on the inside. Oh, gotta snap out of it! lol So, yummy. The little purse was our chance to win a free entry for Creative Escape 2010! Yes, there will be another next year. If you were lucky enough to have extra cash. You could have paid that night and automaticly been excepted for next year and not have to do the lottery.
Until next year!
And this is for YOU, my girlfriend! Jodie, are you there do I have to pick you up from the floor. Look for this in the mail as he signed it especially, for you.!
